Animated Movie Reviews....

Hey Guys,
I have decided to write reviews on 3 animated movies I've seen this year : "RANGO", "GNOMEO+JULIET", and "TANGLED".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Rango": I have just seen "Rango"and this is my opinion: Just don't see it. I thought it would be really good, because most of the critics like it, but I was sadly disappointed. There was language that was inappropriate for a PG rating, and the bad guys were kinda scary(and I'm 13!).Plus,there was some really weird "SPIRIT OF THE WEST" kinda of held as a religious god(they even pray to him at one point). But it was kind of cute. Just not for the younger crowd. If I rated it, it would be leaning towards the PG-13 rating.5/10 stars.
"Gnomeo+Juliet": It was cute(safely). Rather British-humored,though. If you saw "Shrek 2" then just imagine that on a slightly lower level. If you enjoy lawn-mower gnome races (or giant explosions) or gnome romance,  then you will probably enjoy it. 6/10 stars.
"Tangled" : This is THE BEST Disney musical EVER. I LOVED IT. The characters were awesome, and I can't wait until they make a Broadway out of it!!  I think if you like romance, action, musicals, and unexpected endings, then this is for you. 10/10 stars. (Just a warning,though. For the younger audience, Mother Gothel(the bad "guy") is kinda scary at the end!) :)
awesome...
I hope these help!! <3
Half Magic
Jane, Mark, Katherine, and Martha are having the dullest summer ever. If only something would happen. Then something does. It all starts when Jane finds a dime(or what looks like a dime) on the sidewalk and adds it to her spending money. Then she wishes for a fire or something to make their day exciting. Immediately the children hear fire sirens. A little girl's play house is on fire!
Mark, Katerine, and Martha all stare at Jane. Is she magic? Jane (when nobody's looking) puts the "dime" in a bag hanging on her closet door. Then she proclaims that she has a headache, and she was going upstairs to take a nap. Jane actually does have a headache, but is trying to solve what happened. Martha follows her up with the cat, Carrie. Jane is in bed, and Martha leaning against the bag wishes that Carrie could talk. Carrie talked! BUT it was like gibberish, so they could only half make out what she was saying. The children finally figure it out. You have to wish for twice as much as you want,and you'll get the whole thing of what you want. The fire, for instance, was in a play house,very small. Follow Jane, Mark, Katherine, and Martha as they find out the charm's full power.
I really like this book. It was very easy and fun, and I think any grade will really enjoy it!
ENJOY!! <3
                                These are both covers to the book.I own the second one.
I really like this book and hope you do too. It has romance, adventure, and action. But no matter what book it is, never sneak a peek at the end! That's the way to ruin a book.  Not saying that anybody does that............ ;) LOL. ENJOY!!
~~~OUTCAST~~~

~When,during a storm, a roman trading ship crashes on the shores of Britain near where the Dumnonii tribe live. The sole surviver is a infant boy,who is adopted by a couple of the Dumnonii,and they name him Beric.But fifteen years later, famine and death strike the tribe.The tribe blames Beric,because he is a roman and for that sole reason,turn him out of the tribe. Without friends,family or tribe, Beric goes to seek his own in the treacherous roman world,but Rome too rejects him.Will Beric ever find a family, or will he remain outcast forever?~

'Outcast' is a novel written by Rosemary Sutcliff. It was published in 1955 and is illustrated by Richard Kennedy.
I was surprised ,because when I read the back of the book,it didn't give away anything. And 'Outcast' is one of the fastest books I have ever read. I was literally eating it. :)
But,I will warn you. It is kinda a dark and depressing book, but the ending was WONDERFUL.
5 out of 5 stars. ENJOY! <3

Warrior Scarlet : by Rosemary Sutcliff

We are going back in time (oh boy!). It's roughly 900 AD (the Bronze Age) in Britain.
Our hero is a boy named Drem, who dreams of being able to become a man and a warrior. (The reward of becoming a man,they got to wear a scarlet cloak.)But in order to become one, Drem must slay his wolf. Only one problem... He has a lame arm. It would be a dangerous task for a grown man, yet alone a teenage boy with both arms to use. But Drem must do it or he will be exiled to live with the little shepherds,the dark people. He can use his left arm well enough. He sets out and soon picks up the wolf trail. He and his friends track it and bring it to bay. But it is between Drem and his wolf now. Suddenly the wolf jumps. Drem falls under him. He thinks he's dead. But in the last minute, Drem's best friend comes in and saves him. The wolf gets away. Now what will happen? Will Drem ever be able to kill his wolf and become a man?? Or will he be banished away to the half-bloods,the dark people?
Ok, I hope I didn't give away too much. But this is a wonderful book. It's as good as 'The Eagle of the Ninth'. Enjoy!!!
