2006 adaption.
Jane Eyre is a novel by Charlotte Bronte. It is about a girl who has been mistreated all her life,and only one person has ever loved Jane,but she died very young. Jane becomes a governess to little french girl at a huge mansion.There she meets the owner of the mansion,Mr.Rochester,quite by accident.As he was riding home,Jane was walking to town. Suddenly the horse gets spooked by Jane and Mr.Rochester falls off and sprains his ankle. Jane falls in love with him.But there's more to Mr.Rochester than meets the eye,as Jane discovers his dark past............ It has also been made into at least 5 tv adaptions, maybe more.
It is currently being made into the 1st theatrical version.All the others have been at least 4 hours long.The new one stars Mia Wasikowski,Michael Fassbender,and Jamie Bell.It looks really creepy and very dramatic.Jane Eyre aires March 11,2011.
