More Movies......

Hey guys,
My trip is going great so far, and so I have access to a laptop, I thought I would write a few posts about the recent movies I've seen. Here's the first:
                      Pirates of the Caribbean-On Stranger Tides

I just saw this on Wednesday with my grandmother in 2D and it was really neat.
Even though you could tell it had a new director(Rob Marshall replacing Gore Verbinski) and screen writer. And of course,the cast. They pretty much ditched everyone except Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush.
Well,anyway, Jack once again appears in the search for the Fountain of Youth.
He joins Black Beard,on the Queen Anne's Revenge,along with his daughter,Angelica (who has a connection with Jack). But the only way to find the Fountain,they have to capture a mermaid. With a mermaid and 2 other important artifacts, will they make it to the fountain? Or will Captain Barbossa beat them?
If you saw the trailer, Jack says "We'll have to go thru Zombies....."
It was kind of random, because they do not play a big part at all.
All the actors did an amazing job. And it still has the original spirit of the Pirates Trilogy. I definitely recommend this. The mermaids are a little creepy, but it's not as violent as the others. And there were a few references as well,but it was still good.I loved it!

Animated Movie Reviews....

Hey Guys,
I have decided to write reviews on 3 animated movies I've seen this year : "RANGO", "GNOMEO+JULIET", and "TANGLED".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Rango": I have just seen "Rango"and this is my opinion: Just don't see it. I thought it would be really good, because most of the critics like it, but I was sadly disappointed. There was language that was inappropriate for a PG rating, and the bad guys were kinda scary(and I'm 13!).Plus,there was some really weird "SPIRIT OF THE WEST" kinda of held as a religious god(they even pray to him at one point). But it was kind of cute. Just not for the younger crowd. If I rated it, it would be leaning towards the PG-13 rating.5/10 stars.
"Gnomeo+Juliet": It was cute(safely). Rather British-humored,though. If you saw "Shrek 2" then just imagine that on a slightly lower level. If you enjoy lawn-mower gnome races (or giant explosions) or gnome romance,  then you will probably enjoy it. 6/10 stars.
"Tangled" : This is THE BEST Disney musical EVER. I LOVED IT. The characters were awesome, and I can't wait until they make a Broadway out of it!!  I think if you like romance, action, musicals, and unexpected endings, then this is for you. 10/10 stars. (Just a warning,though. For the younger audience, Mother Gothel(the bad "guy") is kinda scary at the end!) :)
awesome...
I hope these help!! <3
Half Magic
Jane, Mark, Katherine, and Martha are having the dullest summer ever. If only something would happen. Then something does. It all starts when Jane finds a dime(or what looks like a dime) on the sidewalk and adds it to her spending money. Then she wishes for a fire or something to make their day exciting. Immediately the children hear fire sirens. A little girl's play house is on fire!
Mark, Katerine, and Martha all stare at Jane. Is she magic? Jane (when nobody's looking) puts the "dime" in a bag hanging on her closet door. Then she proclaims that she has a headache, and she was going upstairs to take a nap. Jane actually does have a headache, but is trying to solve what happened. Martha follows her up with the cat, Carrie. Jane is in bed, and Martha leaning against the bag wishes that Carrie could talk. Carrie talked! BUT it was like gibberish, so they could only half make out what she was saying. The children finally figure it out. You have to wish for twice as much as you want,and you'll get the whole thing of what you want. The fire, for instance, was in a play house,very small. Follow Jane, Mark, Katherine, and Martha as they find out the charm's full power.
I really like this book. It was very easy and fun, and I think any grade will really enjoy it!
ENJOY!! <3
She has family, friends, and a home.All that changes when summons come from the kingdom that the prince is going to be married, and the girl must must come from Mount Eskel. But in order to be fit for a princess, all the girls must attend The Princess Academy,which will prepare them. Miri and most of the other girls must go. Their lives of completely turned around as they learn everything, from reading and writing, to how to properly curtsy and hold a teacup. But Miri has competition. Who wouldn't want to become a princess, and live in luxury all their lives??
                                These are both covers to the book.I own the second one.
I really like this book and hope you do too. It has romance, adventure, and action. But no matter what book it is, never sneak a peek at the end! That's the way to ruin a book.  Not saying that anybody does that............ ;) LOL. ENJOY!!
